Private Year-Round CabinFrom $250/night

Rates start at $250 per night for two guests booking a multi-night stay. Rates vary by date and may be higher during holidays, peak-demand periods, and select hunting seasons.

Sleeping Arrangements & Maximum Occupancy

The cabin itself sleeps 2–4 overnight guests, with one private queen bedroom on the main floor and a queen bed in the sleeping loft above the kitchen. The loft is accessed by a steep, removable ladder and may not be suitable for all guests. For larger groups, both camper slips may be rented with the cabin, allowing a maximum of 12 overnight guests on the property.

Bathrooms & Year-Round Comfort

The cabin has an indoor bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower that is available year-round. A separate seasonal outdoor restroom with a toilet and sink is also available. Heating and air conditioning keep the cabin cozy and warm in the winter and comfortably cool in the summer.

Private Riverfront Setting

Enjoy 20 private acres, a sandy beach, spacious level lawn, riverfront pavilion, and direct access to the clear waters of the Crow Wing River. The property remains level from the cabin to the shoreline, making the riverfront easy to access.

Outdoor Amenities

Relax in the hot tub, paddle the river in the canoe or two clear kayaks, enjoy the floating picnic table, fish from the shoreline, or explore the trails throughout the property. The Crow Wing River is home to walleye, sunfish, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and redhorse, although fishing conditions and success may vary. Free firewood is provided for guests.

Kitchen with medium-size appliances, standard cooking essentials, a toaster, a large peninsula with seating, and a coffee bar.

High-speed Starlink Wi-Fi and three smart TVs located in the living room, queen bedroom, and porch.

Camper Slips & Horses$55 per slip/night

Two camper slips with electrical hookups up to 50 amps are available as an add-on to a cabin reservation for $55 per slip, per night. Tent camping is not permitted; additional overnight accommodations must be in the two designated camper slips. Camper slips are never rented separately, so the property remains private for your group during your stay. There is ample parking and maneuvering space for vehicles and trailers. When the cabin and both camper slips are rented, the property can accommodate a maximum of 12 overnight guests. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the property, including in campers; however, horses are welcome with advance approval.

Hunting Groups Welcome

The Crow Wing Cabin is a comfortable year-round home base for whitetail deer, black bear, turkey, and duck hunters, with extensive public hunting land nearby. Guests may explore the trails throughout the property and discover two Deer Stands Direct hunting blinds—a furnished 8' × 8' party stand and a 6' × 6' deer stand tucked into the woods in a great location. Hunting on the property is available with advance owner approval. Hunting dogs are not permitted on the property.

The Crow Wing Cabin has ample on-site parking with plenty of room for multiple vehicles and trailers. There is also generous maneuvering space for camper trailers, horse trailers, and recreational equipment.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not permitted. Horses are welcome with advance approval.

What horse accommodations are available?

Horse accommodations are simple and designed for guests who are comfortable with horse camping. Horses are welcome, but guests should plan to bring their own fencing and other horse supplies. There is plenty of open space for portable fencing, along with good trees in the area that may be suitable for setting up a highline.

Guests can enjoy the riverfront pavilion, fire pit, canoe, two clear kayaks, floating picnic table, and trails throughout the 20-acre property.

Nearby Huntersville State Forest offers designated horse trails, ATV routes, snowmobile trails, and extensive public land to explore. Guests should review current Minnesota DNR maps, trail conditions, passes, and seasonal regulations before their visit.

Summer Tubing & Nearby Food

The Huntersville Outpost Bar & RV Park is located just 1.6 miles from the cabin and offers food, drinks, and seasonal tubing services. Their tubing route begins upriver from The Crow Wing Cabin. Guests staying at the cabin may end their float at the property or continue downriver to the bridge near the Outpost.

Tubing is weather permitting, so guests should contact the Outpost directly for current pricing, schedules, reservations, and availability.
